Saving Water is Saving Energy

Energy is a water issue and water is an energy issue.  Both are issues of sustainability to support the demands of our growing population.  Producing energy requires sizeable volumes of water while the distribution and treatment of water is equally reliant upon readily accessible, inexpensive energy.  The link between clean, available energy and clean, available water is evident.  One cannot exist without the other.

The team members at Acequia hold a common belief that the continued survival of our culture is inextricably linked to our relationship with the land and water.  It is our mission to lead by example in preserving our green environment by using its natural and energy resources wisely, and we encourage this type of environmental stewardship amongst our clients and partners.
