At Acequia, we are passionate about environmental stewardship and believe that sustainability of our culture is globally linked to our human relationship with nature.  Our mission is to lead by example with our efforts of nurturing and protecting our environment. 

That’s why we have chosen to support nonprofit organizations dedicated to environmental stewardship.  Aside from donating on behalf of our clients in exchange for survey completions, we encourage our employees, partners and clients to check out these organizations and consider getting involved:

Alliance for Water Efficiency
The Alliance for Water Efficiency serves as a North American advocate for water efficient products and programs and provides information and assistance on water conservation efforts. The Alliance supports efforts to enhance water conservation providing benefit to water utilities, water conservation professionals, planners, regulators and consumers.

The Conservation Fund
The Conservation Fund is dedicated to advancing America's land and water legacy.  The agency helps government agencies, land trusts, nonprofit organizations and other partners acquire and protect landscapes valued for recreation, wildlife habitat, history and more. Their Revolving Fund is used to bridge financing for federal, state and local partners so they can act quickly to buy and conserve high-priority conservation lands.

Nature Conservancy
The Nature Conservancy works in all 50 United States and more than 30 countries to preserve the plants, animals and natural communities that represent Earth's diversity of life by protecting the ecologically important lands and waters they need to survive.

Environmental Defense Fund
The Environmental Defense Fund is a national organization dedicated to protecting the environmental rights of all people including access to clean air and water, healthy and nourishing food and flourishing ecosystems.

Trees Water People
Trees Water People (TWP) helps communities protect, conserve and manage the natural resources upon which their long-term well-being depends. TWP develops and manages continuing reforestation, watershed protection, renewable energy, appropriate technology and environmental education programs in Latin America and the American West.

Acequia is using water savings to generate more water. One percent of all water savings achieved will be donated to a non-profit charity supporting water conservation.
