Key Management Team
Chris has been a part of the Acequia team since 2003. He played an integral role in the development of the Aquador™ Intelligence software through testing of functionality, reliability and management of the computer server systems. Promoted to Operations Manager in 2007, Chris was responsible for oversight of daily irrigation water application, review of water budgets and all internal IT needs. In 2009, Chris became our VP of Water Management Operations, expanding his responsibilities to the national level, providing direction to Acequia's Regional Managers and utilizing his knowledge and expertise to oversee enhancements to our technology and water management program. Chris graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Agricultural Life Sciences where he was awarded the Texas Turf Grass Association Scholarship for academic achievements, and currently resides in Austin, Texas. Ethan Lane, Director of Business Development
Ethan Lane joined Acequia and the BlueGreen Synergy core line of business in February, 2010 and offices in our Washington, D.C. area location. Ethan provides leadership for our national sales and customer retention departments, driving revenue growth and developing implementable strategies for customer satisfaction and retention measurement. Additionally, he works with Executive Management in growing our nationwide Strategic Marketing Alliance relationships.
With a seasoned commercial real estate background, Ethan brings a successful history in the development and utilization of multi-platform marketing strategies and asset management. Formerly a partner in Walker Commercial Realty of Scottsdale, Arizona, Ethan managed a real estate investment and ranch portfolio with sizeable acquisition costs, and was chiefly responsible for targeted acquisition and retention of BLM, USFS and various state owned grazing leases; including compliance issues related to commensurate property requirements, registered livestock and brand transfers, and grazing schedules. He has also served as sole trustee for a multi-billion dollar private, family owned portfolio comprised of foreign and domestic real estate investments, multinational distribution entities and agricultural operations. Mr. Lane is a University of Mississippi alumnus and has held an Arizona real estate license for thirteen years. Ethan and his wife reside in Alexandria, Virginia.
Ken joined the Acequia team in 2007 assuming the role of Implementation Manager, after owning and operating Rooster Mac, Inc., a commercial and residential irrigation system installation company. During that time, Rooster Mac was a primary installer of Acequia's AquadorTM Intelligence system. His responsibilities with Acequia include managing all operational field assets from manufacturing to repair. Ken has over ten years of irrigation experience and is a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor, as well as a Licensed Irrigator by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (LI #9526). Ken is a graduate of Colorado State University-Pueblo with a degree in Communications. He and his wife and family reside in Austin, Texas.
